PES 2011 for Windows Phone is an excellent small-scale reworking of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 for mobile devices.
The game features great graphics, slick animation, and a control system that's easy to pick up and feels very natural. PES 2011 also features official licenses for many club and international soccer competitions.
There are lots of game modes in PES 2011 for Windows Phone, ranging from a training mode for getting used to the game, to competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and European Super Cup.
Before you take to the field in PES 2011, you must check on the physical condition of your players before choosing the first eleven and setting the tactics you'd like to deploy for that particular match. There are five different difficulty levels in PES 2011, so you can tailor the quality of the CPU opponent to suit your playing standard.
Sadly, there's no multiplayer option in this version of PES 2011 for Windows Phone. What's more, overall game settings are a bit thin on the ground.
PES 2012 doesn't have all the officially licensed players, which may bother some purists. However, it's a fun game to play and there's plenty here to keep you playing for weeks.
